Things to remember as you complete your research paper:
- Did you state your thesis clearly in your introduction AND conclusion?
- Did you state your main ideas clearly in each of your body paragraphs?
- Does each of your main ideas match your thesis (topic)?
- Did you write any numbers out if they are less than ten? Example: two not 2
- Did you say the person’s name at the start of each paragraph?
- Did you write dates out correctly: March 4, 2011 not 4 March 2011
- Did you use professional words in your essay?
Take out words like: got, a lot, I think, cool
